By using an actiTube activated carbon filter, the majority of pollutants are filtered by the activated carbon and are not inhaled. This cools the smoke and gives it a pleasantly mild taste. The bitter taste in the mouth is also largely prevented. When used correctly (small puffs), the effect is often felt to be stronger. In order to ensure the greatest possible filtration, actiTube only uses the highest quality activated carbon in pellet form (no broken carbon) and fills the filters completely (if the filter is poorly filled, the smoke finds a way around the carbon and the filtration ability is greatly reduced). The activated carbon we use is entirely of plant origin.

All actiTube filters are made in Germany.
